Today we will learn about the name of colours in Malaysian language.

Words.

Putih                White
Hitam               Black
Hijao                Green
Kuning             Yellow
Biru                  Blue
Merah              Red
Kelabu             Gray
Ungu                Purple
Perang             Brown

For expressing dark we add word "Tua" after colour name like;

Biru tua             Dark blue
Hijao tua           Dark green

For expressing light we add the word "Muda" after colour name like;

Merah muda      Light red
Ungu muda        Light purple
kuning muda      Light yellow
