LESSON NO. 2 (NUMBERS)

Dear friends.
In our 2nd lesson we will read about numbers. Learn these numbers carefully and it will be very helpful to you in daily life. In this lesson we try to learn the numbers from 0 to 9 because these are the basic number.

1                  Satu
2                  Dua
3                  Tiga
4                  Empat
5                  Lima
6                  Enam
7                  Tujuh
8                  Lapan
9                  Sambilan

First             Pertama
Second        Kedua
Third            Ketiga
Fourth          Keemptan
Fifth             Kelima                   and so on.

NOTE.

1. You can short satu as se like satu ringget will be se ringget which is normal practice in Malaysia.
2. To make numbers as first second third only add ke to every number.
3. Pronunciation of se is sa, ke is ka in speaking.
